When I was going through the wait for my surgery (breast cancer) and then the recovery from surgery, hand stitching kept me sane and helped me stay positive, I'm convinced of it. Too much free time with nothing to do but worry wouldn't have been helpful. <br /><br />Stitching does so much more for our well-being than we realize on the surface.
