Spinning like crazy -- Lydia's quilt

A very special young lady is undergoing major surgery and this quilt is for her:

And the back:

The totals: 100 nickel squares, 25 10-inch squares, 1/2 yard binding

The quilt is a pinwheel quilt along from Old Red Barn Co.

I quilted some all-over cabbage roses and leaves, just to keep it fun.

Our whole family thanks you, Debby, for sharing your beautiful creativity with us. Lydia cuddled under the quilt during the first afternoon home when she was feeling so sick. She let me sit with her and we quietly talked about the pinwheels, the colors, the stitching. She said she'd like to learn to quilt some day.

You have blessed us with your lavish thoughtfulness. May God bless you because you are always thinking of others.

Will email you a picture of Lydia enjoying her gift!

So Appreciatively ~
