I just spent a great week at the Vermont Quilt Festival. The quilts were gorgeous and the people were fantastic. My hotel was nearby and made a perfect sewing room. I brought boxes of five-inch squares and used over 1,000 of them!
Three finished quilt tops and blocks pieced for a fourth.
Head on over to Judy's blog to see what everyone else is doing.

you handsewed 1,000 5" blocks in a week. in your spare time. not all the time.
that's amazing!

wow! you can really get a lot done-I like them all.
Now you have to come home an rest!
did you burn up your little sewing machine?
Happy Sewing
Ahhh, Vermont. We'll be going there in late September but I sure would like to have seen that quilt festival last week!
I was so deeply into nickel charms for a while...
I have traded or outright given away so many 5 inch squares. (Less guilt than carrying the "Why have you not made a quilt with those.")
