Suggestions? Opinions?
My dear daughter-in-law's mother is having surgery and I want to give her a quilt. I pulled this out of my "I started it but never finished it" pile.
It is currently 60x72 inches. The background fabric along the outside edge is yellow instead of white. Does it need a border for size? Or for the sake of the design?

I LOVE this quilt. I've made a number and they always turn out beautifully! I think it could go without borders unless you have something you're dieing to use!!!

I would add a border - a nice red & white print...
I would like a red border...or even a red binding to finish it off.
This is one of my favorite quilt patterns...I think I've made it 3 times in bed size and twice in mini size...love it!
Lovely gift....add a red binding put flannel on the back ( if you have any in your stash) and call it done!
Who wouldn't be thrilled with this quilt?
