Easy Street

I have started three of her mysteries, but this is the only one I ever FINISHED!!!!!

My Easy Street quilt, on my guestroom bed:

It may not stay there, but I want to be able to look at it for a while.

I do not keep a lot of scraps but this was all from my stash.  Even the backing:

I am a machine quilting teacher and often provide kits for students at quilt shows.  I buy bolts and bolts of fabric.  Last year it was green.  I had a lot of little ends of bolts left, so I stitched them with the leftover pieces of the quilt to make the back.  It was not enough though.

I had to find my really little pieces:

I am so in love with this quilt.

Thank you, Bonnie.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Check out everyone's progress here.

Wow, your quilt looks gorgeous, Debby! I love the way your colors worked out and the back looks fantastic! Lime green ROCKS! :))) I'm still stuck at the setting green triangle part and have not had my blocks pieced :)))

I LOVE the coloring in this. I also love the way you can change looks by flipping the quilt over. You can have a traditional or contemporary look. GREAT job!

That was fast, Debby. I don't know how you get so much done. You must piece like the wind!

Yours is the first that I have seen completely finished. Congratulations! As awesome as this quilt looks as it is coming together, it looks amazing complete and on a bed. I can't wait to finish mine.

Impressed that you even have your quilted and you pieced a backing. The whole thing is amazing.
