We cut all the fabric for the log cabins and each pieced one (mine is on the left):

Our homework is to finish the other eleven. And here is my Bear in the Woods partner:

I told her I'd make her famous. She's not only beautiful and talented, but brilliant as well.

The quilt has log cabins, trees, bear paws, and flying geese. I'm making the other 11 log cabins today. Great quilting weather -- 11 inches of snow so far!
Can't wait for the feathered stars!

Oh, I am jealous! I wish I had a quilting partner - how fun! I do have a little 2.5 year old "helper" though - that has to count for something! Are you two making "matching" quilts? You are off to a good start.
Welcome to Stashquilts.
Cheers!

My mom made this quilt for my sister and I quilted it for her. It was a really pretty quilt when it was finished. Can't wait to see yours.
