I am so tickled to be working on Pat Sloan's Vacation Time Block of the Month. The second block is called Toes in the Sand.
I had fun picking colors for this block:
What goes better with lime than purple? Nothing!
I used the flying geese method for the triangles so I had some leftover triangle pairs to sew together after I finished the block:
I think I'm gonna have to make a mini quilt out of these, but I'm not sure yet what that will look like. For now, they are resting in my Vacation Time block folder until I make a decision.
Happy Quilting!

I love the colors!
Ilove these colors. Am I prejudiced? Maybe, since I love the color purple. And I'm using lime green in a wall hanging that's in progress. It really makes the other colors sing.
