Love your blocks! and what a nice blog--looks cozy to me! I loved all your other posts (I'm new and this is my first time to yours). I loved the one about making 2 potholders really doesn't justify buying 40 FQ's! LOL Sounded good to me!
Nope, no snow for this southern belle! Told my DH when we married I didn't care where we lived as long as it didn't get cold in the winter. LOL! So we moved to Tyler, TX. Had a LOT of snow that first year. So we moved back to MS. Then moved to New Orleans. They had their first snow in 17 years the first winter we were there. LOL! So back to MS we went. Lived thru a few snowstorms there before moving here to SE Texas. And SO FAR after 8 years no snow!
I just found your blog and loved your photos too. Especially loved all your photos of blocks. I'm in Australia too and we're at the end of our summer and have a temperate climate but we've had a very hot summer. I don't want snow but a cooler breeze would be nice. Have fun indoors sewing while that cold and wet snow is outside LOL
Welcome to our group! I enjoyed reading your blog and I loved the 4 patch quilt..what a great idea! I have a few graduation quilts in my future and lots of 2" strips!

welcome! and yes, nothing beats quilting in front of the fireplace on a snowy day outside! Looks like a great set of blocks you are working on!
How do you run that big spool of thread through your sewing machine?
I love your blocks - I would do that pattern if it weren't for the set-in seam - you are braver than me!
Cheers!
Evelyn

Welcome to Stash Quilts Debby. yes, there's nothing like bad weather to keep a quilter happily inside. Love the blocks you are doing.
WONDERFUL post...I so enjoyed it..and I too would be in front of that fire place (if I had one) on a snowy day (if it were snowing here) sewing

My 11 year old said "is it real?" - my kids have never seen snow! What wonderful photos. Love the quilt blocks :-)

I used to love snowy days, but now i always have to not only get to work on time, but also get 2 kids to daycare on time, in the snow. :-(
