I finished my Bonnie Hunter Lazy Sunday quilt top and already have it on my quilt frame:
Since I want to give it as a gift on January 6. I decided quick, simple quilting was the way to go:
The recipient wouldn't love this quilt more if it were custom quilted, so an edge-to-edge wandering swirl will do just fine.
Believe it or not, that thread is PURPLE! I auditioned several thread colors, and my FabuLux Wisteria won. I have used Wisteria on a shocking number of quilts, some that weren't purple AT ALL! This thread is a bit of a chameleon and I love it for that quality.
What are you quilting? Do you have any favorite thread colors that seem to work on most quilts?

Love the quilt, free motion quilting, and the thread! Did you free hand this? Beautiful!
