I'm in the midst of a series of postcards for Little Boy helping him to spell out R-O-C-K-E-T-S-H-I-P.
I pulled out my handy-dandy HQ Stitch 710 machine (did you see what I did there?) and started stitching down the "O" with FabuLux In The Pinks:
I wanted some contrast to frame the card, so I switched to FabuLux Cloudy Skies for the satin stitching:
As I've been making postcards, I've learned that I like to double-stitch the edge of each card. It makes a bolder frame for the postcard.
My "O" card with the FabuLux threads:
Did you notice that the fabric matches my cutting board?
This card is ready to mail.
Next up: The Letter "C"!
