I Work Alone?

I live in the woods and can walk to the Appalachian trail.  We have a long driveway and have never, in 12 years, had a trick-or-treater.

We're pretty isolated out here.

Contrary to what you might think, we're not lonely.  We have friends who stop by regularly:

She's right outside my studio window, eating my ugly shrubs.

It's good to have friends, right?

And you are allowed to hunt, just take aim from your sewing room and dinner is delivered :0)
What could be easier.

Happy Sewing

And what are those ugly shrubs. She finds them tasty.
Stay warm.

We see lots of deer near our house too, though we live in a city. Fortunately they are not a problem and I love watching them.

We live in a very rural/farming area and such visitors (and their friends) come often. We've lived here for 40 yrs and never tire of their antics (although, DH would wish that the apple and cherry trees, strawberry plants and a few other plantings weren't so delectable!!!!). I wouldn't trade this location for anywhere else!!
