Weekly Progress Report

I am trying to finish up as many quilting projects in 2017 as possible (and start a few new ones, too!)  This week I'm working on:

Pat Sloan's 182 Day Solstice Challenge:

Churn Dash:

Day Into Night:

Tide Pool:

I am now current on this project, but Pat releases one block a week so you will see more soon.

I unearthed Inez's Walk Around the Block, a Cutie Quilt block of the month.

Block one:

This might be the first BOM I finish this year.  We'll see what happens.

Pat Sloan's The Children's Library BOM:

Mother Goose Rhymes block:

Pat Sloan's Globetrotting BOM.

The first block is Washington DC:

I quilted this block and filmed how I did it.  See the tutorials and videos HERE.

In addition to working on my Block of the Month blocks, I also finished a quilt and some pouches:

Read about them HERE.

I'm away on a quilting retreat this weekend, so expect next week's Progress Report to be filled with finished projects!  (Who am I trying to kid?)

Happy Quilting!

Your Washington, D.C. block is beautiful and is made more so by the quilting you chose. I'm enjoying a moment over the pouches - I remember all of those Moda fabrics from way back when they were used in Moda University projects at my LQS :-). I just (like yesterday!) cut up my leftovers from those quilts to add to my scrap bins. The pouches are just as cute as the quilts. Thanks for the inspiration!
