In my perpetual quest for a cleaner, more organized sewing room, I'm opening boxes of fabric and projects that haven't been opened in years.
I recently opened a box of 2 1/2" scrap strips. I had no idea what I was getting myself into.
The first thing that fell out of that box was a pile of short 2 1/2" green strips, about 4 1/2"-5" long.
I think I'll have to make a scrappy green Stepping Stones Cutie Quilt now.
What color is a good background for green? Beige/Tan is the safe bet, but do you have other ideas?

I'm definitely a "cool" colorway girl and green and blue is my very mostest favoritest color combo! For another look-see I would look at purples. Yellow is also a color I use with greens. Watching for this latest project.
I think light blue would be a good background color with the greens.
