Globetrotting, block 4: San Juan (in review)

I'm finally finished quilting the San Juan block from Pat Sloan's Globetrotting block of the month.

First, I made a plan:


I started by quilting swirls:



Then I quilted continuous curve:


After that I quilted triangles:


And finally I quilted some ribbon candy:



See the finished block:



Since I am going to London on July 4, I hope to quilt that block next.  Stay tuned!
