I'm Globetrotting with Pat Sloan.
So far we've been to
Washington D.C.
and Venice
This month, Pat led me to Chicago
This is going to be a very happy quilt when it is finished!
I was raised in Pittsburgh, but have lived in New York since I was 20. I have fallen in love with New York pizza -- large slices that drip grease down your arm when you eat them -- Mmmmm.......
I was teaching in Naperville, IL about a year ago and let my students decide which Chicago pizza I should eat. They chose Lou Malnati's. It was a tasty casserole that I ate with a fork, but I couldn't fold it in half to see if the grease dripped down my arm. It was confusing.
Which pizza do you like better -- New York? or Chicago?

Without hesitation or a second thought, NY.
As you said, Chicago "pizza" is a casserole. Very tasty, but not my slice.
Wait...you're making these blocks in two colorways? How do you find time to do this with all the traveling?? Wonderful to see you in Pelham this weekend! Again, a fun time was had by all and lots of new ideas! Thanks!
PS Chicago please!!
New York pizza is the best!
